Job Description
- ● Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
- ● Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
- ● Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
- ● Draft, modify and implement company policies
- ● Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
- ● Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
- ● Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
- Provide technical assistance for environmental health regulations, environmental management systems, and projects.
- Implement environmental management systems and programs for company or clients
- Perform environmental compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Experienced professional to be responsible for attaining certifications for environmental and sustainable manufacturing process.
- Responsible for data entry, and tracking of assessment findings, CAPSs.
- Maintain social compliance system information and supplier certificates of compliance.
- Work collaboratively to ensure partners complete corrective action plans in a timely manner.
- Determine the supplier rating of existing and potential suppliers.
- Manage the work of contracted third-party monitoring firms – including scheduling, securing quotes, confirming approval, following up on audit results, and invoicing.
Job Requirements
- Experience in Textile Field is a must
- A Strong background and experience in sustainability, compliance, or environmental management.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance standards, and sustainability frameworks
- Experience with sustainability reporting tools and frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent command of English language
