Electrical Site Engineer

 Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and communication networks.
• Ensure that all work is performed according to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Prepare and review project documentation, such as electrical schematics, method statements, and progress reports.

Technical Oversight:

• Provide technical support and guidance to on-site teams.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical installations.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures for electrical installations.
• Monitor subcontractors and vendors to ensure the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Conduct final inspections and testing of electrical systems before handover.

Coordination and Communication:

• Liaise with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings, providing updates on electrical aspects.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.

Health and Safety:

• Ensure that all site activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety on-site, conducting regular safety briefings and training sessions.
• Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
