Job Description
- Supervise and monitor electrical works on-site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and MEP teams to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems.
- Inspect installation of electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, low current systems, earthing, and grounding.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and progress.
- Verify material deliveries, check conformity with specifications, and ensure proper storage.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing method statements, technical submittals, and work progress reports.
- Resolve technical issues, liaising with consultants and project managers when required.
- Monitor subcontractors’ performance and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site.
- Attend site meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (3:6 years) as an electrical site engineer in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and MEP drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
