Job Description
- Installing , administrating and configuring operating system such as Windows, Linux, or Mac systems
- Application software and computer hardware
- Troubleshooting and providing technical support to employees
- Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts
- Performing regular security tests and security monitoring
- Maintaining networks and network file systems
- Administrate (Microsoft365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WDS, WSUS, File server , antivirus , Printer server and Certificate Authority).
- Performs as a member of the system administration team to support the installation, integration, optimization, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, modification, and security.
- Upgrading of IT systems and components to provide services that enable customers to apply IT to business requirements effectively.
- Distributed new or upgraded software to ensure customers receive current versions of supported software.
- Manage the Network team and Administration of network components according to corporate strategies.
- Support and maintain all network connectivity.
- Support inter-building Communications.
- Support Datacenter core network.
- Support and maintain access control and parking systems.
- Support VOIP telephony access ensuring proper QoS.
- Monitor the network behavior and report for any abnormal patterns,
- Discover and pinpoint any bottleneck or broken connectivity.
- Creating the needed reports ,documents and manuals as needed.
- Monitoring Communication Lines (SDSL, MPLS and PRI's).
- Make sure to work as per IT standards
- Cisco Platforms Administration (Switches, Routers, Wireless)
- VPN Connectivity (Site/Client) ipsec ,ssl, firewall Technology, antivirus
- IP telephony system awareness
- Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s team.
- Delivering new security technology approaches and implementing next-generation solutions
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
- BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
- 1-2 years of experience
