Job Description

Maintenance and Troubleshooting (30%)

  • Performing routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting electrical faults and implementing repairs, including PLCs and control systems.

Monitoring Systems (25%)

  • Monitoring electrical systems during shifts to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Using SCADA systems or similar technology to oversee performance and respond to alerts.

Installation of Equipment (15%)

  • Assisting in the installation of electrical and control equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Supporting the commissioning of new systems and equipment.

Documentation and Reporting (10%)

  • Maintaining logs of operations, maintenance activities, and incidents.
  • Preparing reports on electrical system performance and issues for senior engineers.

Collaboration and Support (10%)

  • Assisting senior engineers in project work, upgrades, or installations, particularly involving PLCs, control systems, and leading engineering techniques.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as operations and safety teams, to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Training and Development (5%)

  • Participating in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in electrical engineering, PLCs, classical control systems, leading techniques, and safety protocols.

Shift Work Flexibility

  • Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights and mornings, to ensure continuous coverage and support for operation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized government university (graduated between 2022 and 2024 preferred).
  • Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and classical control systems.
  • Understanding of leading engineering techniques and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues effectively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
