Job Description
The main objective of the Senior Tour Operator Job is to :
- Fulfill the Agent requirements and to operate all the Tourism Operational files with accuracy and ensure providing high standard of services in coordination with all involved branches, hotels and suppliers to satisfy the guest.
- Make Quotations and Offers to the agent
- Quote and operate Special Groups
- Follow up Commitment Charts and bookings on daily basis
- Arrange Hotels Contracts Rates commitment and allotment in coordination with the IT department
- Involved in data entry of contracts
- Decide about the special offers needed for the agents to improve sales
- Negotiate with the hotels and suppliers best prices each season or for specific special offers for a certain period according to the agents model
- Ensure receiving special offers in case low commitment materialization to fill empty committed rooms
- Endeavour to get best prices in the market from the hotels/cruises/suppliers to increase volume (yield actions) -
- Recheck accounts payable inquiries and adjust file of system accordingly.
- Get budget rates of the bookings to generate more profits.
- Responsible for revenue management, for online business employee responsible for modify markup according to sales situation and market conditions to achieve more sales with best profit possible.
- Solve daily operational problems.
Job Requirements
- University Graduate
- Foreign language skills, English is a must – extra language is a plus
- Experience 4-6 years in the inbound tourism
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High Communication skills
- High Customer service skills
- Organizational skills
- A demonstrable interest in travel
- Knowledge of key holiday destinations
- Commercial awareness
- Good time management skills.
