Job Description
Job Purpose:
Duties:
- Responsible for managing and following up during on all design related matters the pre-design and pre-construction phases of the company’s projects; overseeing all design issues and coordinating with estimating and project management departments on all design-build projects.
Critical Duties:
- Manage, review, and coordinate architectural/engineering projects and proposals developed in-house or by consultants
- Assist in the qualification of consultants used during pre-design and pre-construction services
- Identify and coordinate any project required permits
- Manage pre-construction coordination meetings and assist with bid analysis and reviews.
Duties:
- specifying the nature and quality of materials required;
- preparing tender applications and presentations;
- repairing applications for planning and building control departments;
- drawing up tender documents for contracts;
- project managing and helping to coordinate the work of contractors;
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Fine Arts (Architect).
- 3 years + in the same position.
- Professional knowledge of design programs (e.g. Photoshop, AutoCAD, 3d max and/ or Revit)
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
- Ability to use the main MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with local specifications and supplements to each and with reading blueprints and plans.
