Install and configure Commonly used Linux systems like Centos, Ubuntu, Cloud Linux,..etc
Perform routine system maintenance and solve any server-side issue that may arise.
Create any needed system backups.
Configure automated regular system backups according to the needs and help to maintain data integrity.
Monitor the system performance, notice any potential issues that may impact the performance, take measures that help in preventing any crashes or shutdowns.
Maintain system security at the system level and provide support in security configurations for commonly used web Apps and frameworks like “WordPress, Laravel,...”.
Provide Technical support and guidance in cooperation with backend developers to perform any security or performance optimizations and configurations.

2:3 years experience in Linux System Administration.
In-depth knowledge and familiarity with Linux systems like Centos, Ubuntu, Cloud Linux,..etc.
Programming and coding background is required.
Experience with WordPress specific server-side performance and security configurations.
Experience with MySQL and MariaDB installation, configuration, backups, and maintenance.
Experience with installation and configuration of App-specific monitoring tools like New Relic.
Solid knowledge of commonly used web protocols and systems like; DNS, HTTP, TCP, SMTP, ...
Solid experience in commonly used web servers like Nginx, Apache, and Lite speed and their configurations.
Solid knowledge of Information Security techniques and best practices.
Experience with commonly used web environments installation and configurations, like PHP, Python, and NodeJS.
Experience with cloud platforms like Digital Ocean, Linode, Aws,.. is preferred.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills.
