Job Description
- Plan, organize, direct and control the complete procurement functions and coordinate the procurement activities within the company and as well as with vendors.
- Keep close coordination with engineering/ planning/operation regarding upcoming material requirements in order to take pro-active steps to reserve and secure materials
- Negotiate major purchases with suppliers, and engage in all aspects of contract management.
- Manage and organize all related to the warehouses and provide all the required reports in regards.
- Coordinate with Commercial/ Estimation departments regarding material and service prices and guarantee procuring at or lower than internally agreed prices
- Coordinate with Finance Department for approval of price, payment terms’ evaluation and currency approval as well as legal aspects of transaction
- Lead the department and managing the morale and motivation and performance of the staff.
Job Requirements
- Engineering degree and it is preferred in Structural Engineering
- 10 - 15 years’ work-related experience, at least 5 years as a Procurement Manager role.
- It is essential to have an experience in steel structure industry.
- Knowledge of material codes and specifications
- Fluency in English
- Excellent negotiation skills
