Job Description
- Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations
- Study and prepare (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
- Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
- Carry out day-to-day management of the site
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Create, review and modify shop drawing submittals for approvals
- Conduct quantity survey submittal for approvals.
- Conduct the value engineering process throughout the engineering phase.
- Conduct the calculations needed for each project.
- Managing site files .
- Preparing complete site reports of raw materials and cost control.
- Dealing with subcontractors.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in shop drawings and coordinating them with (civil, architecture ,mech ,Electrical) drawings.
- Fluent in dealing with AutoCAD and Office programs
- A Bachelor degree in (Civil / Architectural / Mechanical / Electrical )engineering is a must.
- 5-7 years’ experience in the same field is A MUST.
- Good experience in Mega Projects.
- Proficiency in shop drawings and coordinating them with civil and architecture drawings.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Mastering different drawing tools.
- Advanced AutoCAD or Revit or both.
- Experienced in the preparation of BOQ.
