Job Description
1. Next.js Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain dynamic, responsive web applications using Next.js.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) as needed.
2. Integration and API Development:
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints with Next.js applications.
- Work closely with backend teams (Drupal ) to ensure seamless data exchange.
3. Optimization and Performance:
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and user experience.
- Implement SEO best practices and analytics tools for Next.js applications.
4. Collaboration and Documentation:
- Document technical solutions and processes for internal and external use.
5. Maintenance and Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the JavaScript/Next.js ecosystem.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production and development environments.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in JavaScript development.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js.
• Technical Skills:
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React.
- Solid understanding of Next.js features like SSR, SSG, API Routes, and dynamic routing.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processing tools like Sass or Less.
- Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API, Zustand).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress), and version control (Git).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g Firebase) is advantageous.
• Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
