Job Description

What You’ll Do:

As Social Media Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping our online presence and driving engagement across platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the marketing team to plan engaging content aligned with audience interests.
  • Following up on content and design timelines to ensure timely delivery.
  • Recommending eye-catching visuals, graphics, and video snippets to enhance content performance.
  • Publishing and scheduling content on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more.
  • Managing interactive campaigns to attract new followers and build community.
  • Responding to inquiries, comments, and DMs in a timely, professional manner.
  • Tracking performance metrics, analyzing trends, and adjusting strategies for growth.
  • Promoting free training events and webinars through compelling posts and reminders.
  • Sharing Zoom links, sending follow-up reminders, and notifying attendees about their certificates.
  • Uploading event recordings and promoting them online.
  • Generating and distributing personalized certificates to event participants.
  • Monitoring mentions of the academy across platforms and engaging with relevant communities.
  • Initiating conversations with potential leads and answering inquiries.
  • Using both organic and paid strategies to boost lead generation and program enrollments.

 

Bonus Responsibilities:

  • Celebrate student achievements in WhatsApp groups to encourage word-of-mouth engagement.
  • Gather feedback from trainees and ensure accurate communication records.
  • Maintain clean and organized data tracking for all trainees.

Job Requirements

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization.
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent visual content curation skills.
  • Proficiency with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or similar scheduling platforms.
  • Experience in launching and analyzing paid social media campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to respond professionally to inquiries and maintain a consistent brand voice.
  • Knowledge of the training/education industry is a plus.
