Job Description
- Get requests for quotation from the suppliers and subcontractors for active projects & tenders activities and conduct the first step of negotiation.
- Prepare a preliminary procurement plan.
- Review the RFQ’s contents with the scope mentioned in the project’s BOQ.
- Stick to the project’s milestones without deviation.
- Prepare a RFQ according to the required scope.
- Get multiple offers from the suppliers (Three if applicable).
- Receive and evaluate technical and commercial offers.
- Prepare a financial comparison for the suppliers.
- Send the selected offer to be revised technically from the technical/project manager, if needed.
- Review all the documents with his/her superior before issuing a PO / contract.
- Issue POs / Contracts as per agreed upon terms and conditions with exact milestones / payment terms.
- Buy any necessary material from the local market – If needed.
- Issue the required payments & follow up till transferring it to the suppliers.
- Follow up the PO status till delivering the material / service to the site.
- Maintain an efficient filing system for the follow up sheet, for tracking and reporting
