Job Description
Role Objective:
- Manage quality control and assurance. He is responsible for developing quality controlling procedures for Al Nasser and ensure the required quality.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Review and establish factory and supplier processes to ensure that they are following established inspection procedures.
- Define quality procedures to all factories.
- Resolve any issues with factories and advise on solutions when necessary to fix any production problems advised
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Carry out full preparation for fit sessions, assess the sample to review garment construction and fabric type
- Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests.
- Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work.
- Inspected inbound merchandise to ensure product conformed to expected standards as established by Al Nasser buyers.
- Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
- Make sure the fit process is complete within the target dates and any do not impact “on time” delivery.
- Review customer requirements and ensure they are met.
- Support line manager with business activities and helps to drive the broader product quality control initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Textiles, Manufacturing or similar
- A minimum 4-7 years of relevant garments quality experience
