Job Description
- Receiving, moving, checking, and storing incoming goods.
- Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and also acceptable quality.
- Ensuring that there’s sufficient inventory to meet the organization’s need and managing out of stock products.
- Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
- Prepare a weekly report on the work of the warehouse.
- Monitoring warehouse activities to ensure that goods are, safety and warehouse space is used efficiently.
- Accurately updating all data into a computer and manual recording systems.
- Supervising the work of junior staff.
- Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees' performance.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory and storage area
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- BS degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration
