Robert Walters is currently working with a well established organisation who are on the lookout for a Senior Accountant to join their office in Dubai.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Maintain and reconcile subsidiary accounts to the general ledger.Oversee and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.Perform internal controls testing and ensure compliance with IFRS. Analyse financial data and prepare reports to management.Forecast financial performance and develop budgets.Assist with external audits.Supervise junior team members.Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting rules and regulations. RequirementsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting or ACCA/CA qualification.8+ years of combined experience in an international business and the Big 4/top tier audit firm in a similar role.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience using SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
