Job Description
- Create RFQ for materials, services, fixed assets, equipment and sub contracts for projects and department’s needs.
- Float RFQ to bidders, follow up and obtain open and sealed bids.
- Technical and commercial evaluation and preparation of comparative statements.
- Generating PO for services and materials.
- Follow‐up on material delivery and documentation requirements.
- Follow client standards and procedures for inspection, documentation requirements, delivery requirements, etc.
- Generating reports in ERP and MS-EXCEL for the Purchase requisitions, RFQ’s and PO’s.
- Monitoring of the Document control and expediting activities concerning the awarded purchasing order documents.
- Attending client and designers meetings and meetings with supplier to follow up.
- Attending vendor facilities, as necessary in expediting deliveries and follow up.
- Generating vendor database for the materials and services.
- Coaching and development for junior and fresh staff. •Revise and correct junior and fresh staff work.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous proven experience in the field of Construction.
- 5+ years of experience is needed.
- Very good analytical skills.
- Very good communication skills.
