Coordinates and facilitates consultation with stakeholders to define business and systems' requirements for new technology implementations.
Approves, prioritizes, and controls projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.
Defines and communicates corporate plans, policies, and standards for the organization for acquiring, implementing, and operating IT systems.
Ensures offering applications and technology solutions that meet business requirements and drives the business success through approving the policies, processes and procedures controlling all related activities.
Ensures examining existing systems and business models, analyzing systems requirements, design feasible cost-effective solutions.
Develops technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
Discovers and implements new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
Manages technology partners responsible for Outsourced / managed services & evaluate their performance.
Overlooks & manages Technology budget, projects & ensure efficient implementation within allocated budget & time frame
10 to 15 years
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
MBA is a must.
Strong communication and negotiation skills as a genuine leader.
The ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.
Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role.
Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.
Understanding of budgets and business-planning.
Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
