Job Description
- Train and coach staff on observed work habits.
- Gain knowledge on government safety requirements and trade association safety norms on drilling operations.
- Develop on-site safety programs from VP’s, Health and Safety and Training and Environmental Managers.
- Offer technical expertise and consult on hazard recognition and control, risk management and behavioral modification.
- Comply with Federal, State and local safety standards on site safety procedures and permitting systems.
- Track and trend reporting incidents and calculate injury frequencies for corporate and OSHA compliance.
- Administer Emergency Coordinator program and implement evacuation plans across BCBST operations.
- Evacuate and handle safety plans across enterprise to support Security and Safety department goals.
- Coordinate on emergency response capabilities and infrastructure to identify gaps or vulnerabilities, close gaps and confirm best practice.
- Review and audit program to verify Emergency Management adequacy.
- Manage metrics reporting to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems.
- Administer job safety programs and inspect to detect and correct safety hazards.
- Handle accident record analysis and issue reports regularly.
- Lead site changes to encourage performance expectations for safe behavior to guarantee employee safety.
- Train workers on safety laws, hazardous conditions monitoring and safety equipment usage.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or an associate degree.
- Valid competency certificates.
- Registration as a Health and Safety Officer.
- Strong communication skills.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in this position.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.
