Job Description
- Configure, train, and install Point of Sale system projects including hardware and software installations and upgrades, system and network configuration
- Respond to and resolve calls from restaurants regarding questions, problems, or errors about hardware or software by phone, chat, email, or ticketing system
- Identify, research and resolve technical and operational problems
- Support on-call after hours emergency troubleshooting calls
- Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security
- Perform various project related tasks as needed
- Configure and support network parameters on user systems
- maintain all the desktops/pcs/servers in the head office , warehouse and outlets
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of POS System hardware, software configuration, and operating systems
- Restaurant/bar experience training POS system operational use
- Outstanding customer service skills with a can-do attitude
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and to effectively multitask
- Flexibility to take on other duties and roles as needed
- Working knowledge of network configurations
- The ability to learn new skills and keep current with rapidly changing information technology
- A minimum of 5 year of experience directly installing and supporting POS Systems
