Job Description
- Our ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying and operating Oracle IT systems within the Equant MHS Datacenters.
- They will also perform regular day to day database operations including; Problem Resolution, Upgrades and Maintenance, Backups, Performance Monitoring, and Tuning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering degree or higher.
- 6+ years of experience in the Information Systems industry
- 5 years of experience in Oracle enterprise environment management
- 4 years of experience in the support of Sybase and/or MS SQL. will be beneficial
- Knowledge of Exadata is important for this role
- Technical background required on BMC Patrol, Legato Networker
- Knowledge of Unix, Linux, Data Warehousing, Network Architecture, Configuration Management, Storage Area Networks
- Strong ability to work with International Customers
- Fluency in English
