Job Description
We're hiring a General Manager for our Ithaka Hostel in Alexandria, Egypt.
Ithaka is an innovation in the Hospitality industry that comes to meet emerging demands and new profiles of tourism in Egypt by disrupting current accommodation markets with innovation & utilization of tech, culture and community to empower our guests' experiences.

HR Duties
- Recruit & manage Shift employees
- Set & report KPIs for bonuses & penalties for employees
CRM Duties
- Manage & monitor customer experience from check-in to check out in the hostel (Executive)
- Gather feedback from shifts and create weekly reports
Marketing Duties
- Align with marketing moderator to add online Facebook reservations to our PMS
Operation Duties
- Purchasing, monitoring & reporting stocks
- Alignment with stakeholders for cleaning & security
- Weekly monitoring of security & safety systems
- Data entry for daily accounting inputs
General Duties
- Managing and leading the team with the values and culture of Ithaka
- Directly managing and fixing any conflicts with customers and/or staff
- Firefighting guests needs or problems
- Weekly/Monthly reports & feedback for CEO
