Job Summary:

• To direct the operation of the foodservice program to ensure the students are served attractive and nutritious meals, in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness.

Job Duties:

• Plans and directs the preparation and serving of all food in the cafeteria.
• Cafeteria managers ensure compliance with health and safety standards and plan and provide nutritious meals
• Ensure that cafeteria operations follow all sanitation and health regulations and that meals meet nutritional standards.
• Managers often handle complaints and resolve issues related to food quality and service
• Received and check all deliveries to the school cafeteria.
• Make decisions relating to the operation of the school cafeteria.
• Plan and adjust staff as required.
