Job Description
Job Purpose:
- The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the client's needs.
- She/he is responsible for implementing project milestones.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for handling engineering team problems with the customers.
- Supporting sales department in proposal processes.
- Handle urgent sales and technical visits.
- Responsible for the assigned project implementation from beginning to end.
- Defines project and task scope with the Engineering team.
- Support with creating a project schedule & break projects into doable actions that include materials estimates and manpower needs to be submitted to management.
- Schedules and coordinates project resources.
- Assign responsibilities and mentor project technical team.
- Assist the technical team with the day-to-day management of on-site operations.
- Oversee the manufacture of the devices, systems, and equipment.
- Fulfill all the documentation requirements & documenting project data on the company system.
- Making sure that each stage of the project is progressing on time.
- Provide guidance and advice to all within the project discipline stream.
- Review, check, and approval of all engineering deliverables.
- Make a startup for all equipment and test when the installation finished.
- Make hand over with the end-user.
- Following up with customers’ notes after project delivery.
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental responsibilities.
- Support with creating different 2D / 3D designs
- Make sure that all work orders are created & delivered to the quality assurance before moving from the company to the client.
- Submit the after projects reports to the quality assurance maximum 24 H. right after back from the assignment.
- Handle the installation & maintenance
- Managing all the Technicians work inside the factory
- Responsible for factory products & productions.
- Handle the technical part within the site with the technicians which includes:
- Analyzing water in purification plant to control chemical processes which soften it or make it suitable for drinking: Analyzes samples of filtered water to ensure the quantities of solids.
- Determines amounts of liquid chlorine be used in chlorinators to destroy microbes and other harmful organisms, basing amounts on findings of microbiologists.
- Determines kinds and amounts of chemicals to be used in removing minerals, acids, salts, and other inorganic compounds from water to soften it.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering degree (Chemical Engineering is preferred).
- Experience in Water Treatment Industry is highly preferred.
- 2-5 years’ related experience.
- Time management and organization skills.
- Detailed oriented & ability to multi-task.
- Possess good business acumen and highly adaptive.
- Fast worker with the ability to work well under stress.
- Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
