IT Infrastructure Manager

Major Responsibilities:

• The Manager, IT Security and Infrastructure Services is accountable for the following:

Strategy & Planning – Security

• Identifying systems, processes and information resources requiring security protection;
• Creating and maintaining security architecture design.
• Participating in the maintenance of the Company’s Business Continuity Plan and

Disaster Recovery Plan;

• Creating and maintaining the Company’s information security awareness training program;
• Creating and maintaining the Company’s information security policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures;
• Reviewing projects for IT security risks and defining security requirements;
  Acquisition & Deployment – Security
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry, including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and new attacks and threat vectors;
• Selecting and acquiring security solutions and/or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall security; and
• Overseeing the deployment, integration and initial configuration of all new security solutions and enhancements to existing security solutions.

Operational Management – Security

• Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through Company workstations, servers and other systems and in databases and other data repositories;
• interviewing staff, performing security vulnerability scans, reviewing application and operating system access controls, and analyzing physical access to the systems;
• Ensuring compliance with Company security policies, procedures and guidelines Infrastructure Planning & Operations
• Planning, designing and managing the implementation, operation, maintenance, and ongoing technical support of technology for :network services o application hosting and data storage services, including backup and restoration information technology (IT) disaster planning and business continuity enterprise architecture software and services
