About the Job
  • A successful international school in Obour is looking to hire an experienced, enthusiastic teacher of English for Key Stage 2 (UK curriculum).
  • The successful candidate/s will be responsible for administering and facilitating the English program.
  • This will include standard responsibilities of classroom management, academic planning, assessment and reporting.
  • Other responsibilities include attending required meetings, excursions, activities and daily routine duties.

Job Requirements
  • QUALIFICATIONS: Required: A university degree or education diploma from a recognized institution in the subject you will teach. Preferred: A graduate degree in education or post graduate certification in education- with a major in the subject being taught.
  • EXPERIENCE: Required: a minimum of 3 years teaching in a similar role Preferred: More than 5 years in an international school incorporating a recognized UK-based curriculum.
  • LINGUISTICS: Required: an excellent (1st language level) command of spoken and written English.
  • TECHNOLOGY: Required: experience in using office-style software packages such as MS Word and Excel; mobile messaging services and apps; use of data projection as a teaching aid. Preferred: experience with GSuite (Google Apps); LMS's; Smartboards.
  • AVAILABILITY: Required: As soon as possible. Candidates must not break existing contracts in order to join our team.
