Job Description
- Receiving claims advice, creating physical file and registering claims data on the electronic information system.
- Assessing the validity of claims against the product type, the contracts and conditions of policies.
- Conducting accidents’ surveys or assigning an external surveyor and preparing the related reports.
- Handling correspondences and negotiations with clients.
- Accepting claims within authority limits and referring to the Claims Manager in claims in excess of authority limits.
- Calculating claim settlement amounts, preparing settlement proposal memos.
- Ensuring maximum fairness in claims assessment and settlement.
- Ensuring effective documentation and data required in finalizing outstanding claims.
- Handling salvage and recovery assessment and processing.
- Following up on legal cases as needed.
- Checking reinsurance distribution and handle correspondences from and to the reinsurers and following up on the reinsurers’ claims shares for the claims within authority limits.
- Assisting the executive head and/or the Claims manager in preparing statistics for reinsurers.
- Any other tasks assigned by LM & Management.
Job Requirements
- 1 – 2 years of experience.
- University degree.
- Studies in insurance are defiantly a plus.
- Interpersonal and negotiations skills
- Very good English
