Job Summary
We are looking for Sales Representative to support the rollout of our innovative educational services for schools and colleges across India. Working closely with marketing, the Sales Representative will be responsible for following up on interest from schools, individual teachers, and tutors. You will develop relationships with potential customers and close sales.
Responsibilities
- Proactively source new leads and identify top opportunities to generate new business/prospects across multiple states (assigned territories)
- Handle sales inquiries/activities generated by marketing team to capitalize and invest on all market opportunities
- Manage and follow upon all sales opportunities
- Hit monthly sales targets
- Represent the company at industry events
- Contribute to discussions related to service and product development for schools in order to help achieving a Product-Market fit
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience working in the education sector
- Experience of selling EdTech into schools
- Essential Competencies (Strategic-Minded, Open-minded, Goal Oriented, and Persistent)
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding command of both written and spoken English
- Well-organized with the ability to produce high-quality work to tight deadlines
- Adaptability and flexibility
