Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and set the Trade Marketing Strategy across a portfolio of brands in consultation with Marketing Manager and Sales Manager.
  • Lead and oversee short and long lead Trade Marketing projects, promotional material as briefed by the Marketing, Sales teams, ensuring all artwork and items are on brand and delivered on time
  • Maintain brand guidelines at all times and raise any concerns with the relevant Brand Managers/Digital Specialist & Marketing Manager.
  • Support internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects and Sales support activities are completed to specifications and deadlines.
  • Align any Trade Marketing activity, point of sale and value add items to ensure best in class quality and cost-effectiveness with internal/external designers and suppliers. Where applicable, coordination of legal requirements for consumer or trade promotions.
  • Ensure brand and company point of sale items for core and promotional items remains relevant and up to date and manage inventory.
  • Partner and build relationships with Sales teams across States to support account, State or National initiatives.
  • Allocate internal resources to assist in partnering with the local community and internal stakeholders for any local events such as Luxury Network Events which may require out of hours attendance.
  • General administration duties as well as any other special projects that may arise.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead trade promotions as agreed and ensure they remain on brand strategy, managing where appropriate legal requirements and report on the effectiveness
  • Manage point of sale/value adds from conception to execution and evaluation, ensuring on brand with consistent brand messaging
  • Maintain brand guidelines and adhere to processes
  • Support internal and external designers, printers and other providers through every stage of artwork development as required (concepts, proofs, press checks, final print, etc.)
  • General administration duties

Job Requirements

  • Proven working experience as trade marketing manager.
  • Proven ability to develop marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and marketing best practices
  • Degree in marketing or a related field
