Job Description

Responsibilities:·

Operations

  • Manage the operations and performance of all offices in line with the law, local regulations and the terms of contractual relationships.

Sales growth and service improvement

Develop and manage service and performance standards to increase sales, productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Support and coach Local office managers and teams to ensure consistent sales, service and productivity standards are being achieved across all offices.
  • Establish and maintain resourcing structures and processes to consistently deliver sales, service and productivity expectations.

Business Expansion

  • Identify opportunities for geographic expansion and build the supporting business case for approval to set up new offices in cities with sufficient potential for us to operate profitably Determine in conjunction with the Regional Director appropriate operating models for each expansion opportunity. Participate in global projects to develop designs, standards and processes for new office location, formats, set up and roll out.

Budgets and finance

  • Develop 3 year Country business plans that deliver growth expectations agreed with Middle East RD. Translate 3 year plans into Local area plans that include stretch targets and maximises potential in each market. Develop budgets and financial performance KPI’s for each office and establish performance tracking mechanisms in line with network standards. Monitor office performance and benchmark against network best practice. Manage Country performance to budgeted sales and profit expectations. Ensure that all financial accounting obligations are met to the standards set by the CFO and in line with local laws and accounting standards.

Staffing & Salaries

Determine staffing structures necessary to deliver business objectives.

  • Manage salary rates for staff within company target positioning of the market competitiveness for salaries
  • Ensure that all staffing practice complies with all country and local labour policies and laws.
  • Ensure performance plans are in place for all staff and reviews are conducted at least annually for all staff.

Marketing and branding

  • Develop a national marketing plan that presents a consistent message and image to the customer.
  • Ensure that national marketing plans balance the selling of IDP and its products services with the marketing of IDP managed destinations.
  • Ensure operational activities comply with all marketing and branding guidelines.
  • Participate in the planning, preparation and presentation of business presence at exhibitions, interview programs and roadshows.

Country environment

  • Monitor Country political and socio economic trends and their possible impacts on sales performance.
  • Monitor competitor company and competitor country activity, including all factors impacting on student choice.

Partner Relationships

  • Develop effective relationships with existing & future service agent, partners/clients and manage contracts performance, quality, security and service standards in line with contractual arrangements Aus
