Steel Site Structural Engineer Job Description:
- Act on behalf of the company in the project site to the Project Manager and consultants of big/massive projects.
- Provides technical advice and solving problems on site
- Reviews and perform project technical documentation and requirements
- Preparing a complete steel structure design package and calculations for projects.
- Preparing the bill of quantities and technical specifications for steel structure package
- Prepares steel structures design specifications
- Issue Steel Structure drawings
- Sets up and executes assigned engineering activities such as detail design, verification
- Studies projects by pursuing objectives of structural engineering and design optimization in term of costs, fabrication simplicity and safety.
- Supervise contracted work
- Manage foremen and workers to ensure project meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescale
- Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Civil engineering
- Previous Experience of 5+ Years
- Ability to design Steel Structures
- Ability to perform detailed calculations and drawings of Structural elements
- Excellent use of SAP, TEKLA, Revit and Autocad
- Knowledge of Etab and Microsoft office programs.
