Job Description

Role Summary:

  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments)
  • Assisting the Materials Manager In some point to provide training to the customer regarding (inventory management, EHS, chemical handling etc) .
  • Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Materials Manager In some point to provide training to the customer regarding (inventory management, EHS, chemical handling etc)
  • Making sure that all materials issued on time in customer warehouse,
  • Preparing ahead the documents needed to submit for materials releasing from customer warehouses to GE service team
  • Supporting MM in parts Serialization records while receiving
  • Preparing needed kits in Customer warehouse for each task required in Workshop on time
  • Records all GE tools transactions inside workshop and visual inspection while return GE Containers
  • Following up inventories transactions in the warehouses and laydown areas in all customer sites
  • Then Trackers to be maintained with Part No#, Serial N0#, Loco No# beside the CMMS transactions in separate sheets with formulas when needed
  • Sporting MM in Physical count for GE Materials Customer warehouses
  • Following up GE recommendations and make sure that customer following all GE storage instructions for all GE parts
  • Daily recorded EHS TBT with Customer warehouses managers /employees
  • Tracking and handling R&R parts with serial numbers and delivery dates with Loco numbers when return
  • Apply process for Rehab project operation consumables materials for faster and accurate process matching the EHS requirements

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Suitable Bachelor's degree : Mechanical / Elector Mechanical or Mechatronics from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 5 years experience dealing with warehousing, inventory management, experience dealing ‎directly with customer a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Capable of physically handling materials and ‎packaging.
  • Use of MS Office and knowledge of ERP systems preferred (SAP, Oracle, etc)‎
