Job Description
Camp Operations:
Oversee and support the daily operations of the camp, ensuring all activities run smoothly and safely.
Parent Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact for parents. Handle concerns, complaints, and inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and prompt resolution.
Staff Training & Coaching:
Train, mentor, and support camp counselors and staff to maintain high performance and positive team dynamics.
Program Support:
Assist the Camp Team Leader in the design, planning, and execution of engaging and age-appropriate camp programs.
Logistics & Coordination:
Manage logistics related to camp schedules, supplies, facilities, and transportation as needed.
Back-from-School Program:
Oversee the preparation and smooth execution of the Back-from-School program, including activity planning, scheduling, staffing, and logistics.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in camp coordination, education, youth programs, or related fields preferred.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, especially in resolving conflicts or concerns.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
Flexible, proactive, and solution oriented.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Must be available to work flexible hours, including some weekends or evenings during peak camp seasons.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
