What will you be doing?

Develop, implement, and manage production processes and workflows to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.

Monitor production output to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement quality control measures and address any deviations or issues.

Optimize production processes to minimize waste and reduce production costs while maintaining quality standards.

Oversee maintenance schedules and procedures for production equipment to ensure optimal functioning and minimize downtime.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to create a safe working environment for employees and minimize workplace accidents.

Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize processes.

Work closely with cross-functional teams such as design, engineering, and supply chain to coordinate production activities and achieve overall business objectives.

Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation related to processes, quality control, maintenance, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and Lead the procurement team to provide guidance and support to ensure timely and effective procurement processes.

2. Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline purchasing operations.

3. Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to ensure proper and smooth operations.

4. Identify potential suppliers, conduct vendor evaluations, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.

5. Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and budgetary constraints.

6. Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues or disputes, and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers.

7. Analyze procurement data, trends, and metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.

8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, contract terms, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.

9. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to procurement policies and guidelines.

10. Train and mentor procurement team members, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Holding a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or any relevant field
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in Procurement within FMCG Industry.
  • Fluency in English Language
  • Proficient user of ERP system and Microsoft Applications.
  • Strong Leadership and Analytical skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills – Communication, Negotiation
  • High adaptability, Pro-active approach
  • Ability to multitask
