SAP FICO Consultant (Technical Consultant not End User)

Job Purpose

Responsible for designing, building and deploying SAP-based ERP solutions, leading analysis and design in the SAP FI/CO area, often in close cooperation with the clients finance team; Conducting structured testing internally and with users; Ensuring stabilization of the solution and continuous improvements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Be the main Contact for customers seeking technical assistance.

• Provide first level of support for all Information Technology products and services; support may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, teaching or instructing customers regarding software or hardware functionality, and communicating policy.

• maintain documentation of technical support policies and procedures.

• Follow with customers whose issues are not closed to Identify solutions to work around open issues/problems that are under investigation or pending resolution to the assigned tickets.

• Screen for available opportunities and report to SAP Practice head

• Receive and record technical and/or application support requests from end users in the ticketing system.

• Updates tickets with appropriate journal entries of activities, and closes tickets with resolution entered upon completion of the job.

• Prepare the required reports, analysis and set up the documentation necessary.

• Present results to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Other duties as assigned.
