Job Description
Main Job Purpose:
Manage the end to end of project puts right focus on time delivery & a smooth vertical start-up in the designated areas of responsibility as well as the project as a whole.
Key Accountabilities:
- Principal Responsibilities during project start phase
- On Time In Full (OTIF) end to end delivery of Project GF, adhering to Unilever standards and ensuring safety as our number 1 priority
- Development and maintenance of project stakeholders Relationships.
- Regional & Local stakeholder management
- To implement Unilever sustainability targets on Greenfield and brown field sites.

Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Planning mixer production, team shift organizations, bulk raw material quantity related with filling lines productions in the factory and third party
- Ensure semi-product productions in quality standards with hygienic & safe conditions, taking countermeasures to improve
- Minimize RM packaging wastes in association with procurement department and suppliers
- Minimize RM transportation cost in association with procurement department and suppliers
- Capacity control of process in short & medium term for forecast up-downs, works closely with factory planning, take countermeasures for the live demands
- Making daily SAP transactions, review the weekly and monthly reports in SAP
- Periodic counting actual stock of raw materials at the process and comparison with the theoretic values in SAP
- Periodic calibration of weighing, critical temperature and pressure systems ( flowmeters, daily tanks, mixers, pre-mixers, raw & semi-product storage tanks, thermocouples, pressure indicators etc…)
- Raw material balance and over & under consumption minimization activities
- Studying new innovation and investment projects, supporting preparation the capital expenditure of required new or upgrade equipments, commissioning and start up the projects with engineering team at the shop floor
- Corporate studies with R&D and procurement for new production recipes & parameters, alternative raw material trials and get ready the recipes for production
- Coordinate and make production trials with R&D at the process, make all preparations before and after the trial
- Rework of semi-product trials according to R&D approval and rework procedures
- Improve agreed and set relevant KPI targets, OPE, right first time, number of quality failures, OR, number of breakdowns, etc
- Make utilization improvement activities, especially reduction of batch cycle times
- Energy and water consumption ( cleaning & disinfection) minimization activities
- Ensure and improve quality(ISO 9000), safety(OSHAS 18000), environment(ISO 14000) hygiene(GMP & Best Practices) standards at the process
- Making low cost automation and eliminating non–value added operation activities especially about raw material preparation, feeding procedures and physical & chemical analysis procedures
- Planning training and maintain suitable facilities to improve actual operator levels and new operators
- Coordinate WCM activities at the process(Autonomus maintenance, kaizens, F-tags, OPL, etc…)
- Coordinate overshift, absents assignment of mixer operators and inform HR
Job Requirements
Professional Skills:
- Professional Engineering Skills ( Educated to degree standard in an engineering discipline)
- Engineering Design Process Management (Fully Operational)
- Project Delivery (All sub skills - Fully Operational)
- Maintenance Principles and Best practice (Working Knowledge)
- EEM / EPM / BFI (Working Knowledge)
- Budget Management (Fully Operational)
Experience Required:
Essential
- 2-3 Year’s experience of Project Engineering/ operations management in FMCG / related Industry or gained in an engineering consultancy environment
- Significant Project Management experience, commissioning & green field or brown field projects
Desired
- Attained Professional Engineer Status (Or member of professional institution)
- First hand experience & proven track record of delivering major capital projects within Unilever or similar FMCG environment
Travel:
Travel required depending on project needs.
