Job Description
- Responding “technically and financially” to Request for Proposals “RFP s” for customers in different technologies.
- Supporting Sales and business development teams in different tasks.
- Study the organizational behavior & the corporate competitive edge plus study marketplace in terms of competitors, competitors’ details, completes market analysis.
- Providing technical design consultancy on Security solution “i.e. FWs, IPS, DDOS, DLP, AMP, SIEM, DNS, PAM, DAM, WAF, 2FA, Web and Email Security solutions” through the following vendors: Cisco, Fortinet, F5, IBM, Symantec, TrendMicro, LogRhythm’s, etc.
- Join Business Development Team in creating business development plan for specific accounts.
- Generating, prospecting and qualifying opportunities in specific accounts.
- Assist the Business Development Team in developing required proposals for the assigned solutions.
- Analyzing and identifying areas of strength as well as improvement opportunities that CONNECT-PS focus on, and generate the summary of Technical Tips & Notices out from the Project history.
- Participating in vendor campaigns/seminars/events/shows, etc.
- Engage with Business Development team, functioning as a technical expert on product set, business case & positioning success stories etc.
- Responsible for supporting the Business Development team to develop value in front of customers to win new opportunities.
- Demonstrations of the technical value proposition to prospective customers through addressing values & Return Of Investment (ROI).
- Lead presentations, general technical architecture discussions, writing and editing scopes of work etc.
- Responding to day-to-day RFPs, by doing initial assessment to choose products and/or solutions against competition, then preparing the technical and financial cost offer.
- Calculating the Return Of Investment (ROI) for new solutions.
- Responding to client’s request, whatever it is cost quoting or work force details or discussions based on technical details and amendments.
- Customer visits to discuss technical solution and requirements.
- Logging business opportunities on daily basis in vendor portals.
- Develop and updating proposals, with highly technical content.
- Interacting with internal team in all division like finance, admin, technical team etc. for the good details in proposal.
- Effectively interact with the technical engineering and support teams to provide solutions to complex technical issues.
- Contacting & managing suppliers for validation of technical solutions and pricing request.
- Keeping track of new technology updates and new solutions, by attending appropriate training and/or self-training through literature.
- Validating technical solution and products for proposed projects.
- Preparing & lead technical team to conduct Life Demos for Customer on new Technologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Computer or communication Engineering.
- 2 to 4 years in presales and/or delivery of technical services with demonstrable business development.
- CCNP is a plus.
