Job Description
- We are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales to generate sales either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.
- You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products or services.
Responsibilities
- Cold call people using a given phone directory to sell products or solicit donations
- Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
- Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
- Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how merchandise or services meet their needs
- Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a computer system
- Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company’s reputation
- Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
- Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Answers customer support messages via telephone or Web promptly to enhance the customer service experience
- Accurately records and logs interaction with customers and updates account information and able to retrieve this information to create reports for management
- Accurately and efficiently enters customer information into company databases for mailing and billing purposes
- Maintains a list of potential leads and follows up with those customers by making subsequent sales pitches
- Contacts customers in response to correspondence or feedback
- Monitors order status to ensure that clients receive orders in a timely manner
- Investigates unfilled, misplaced, or misdirected orders and resolves customer issues as necessary
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Experience 2-4 years as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
- Software experience is a must
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent in English
- Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Patient and able to handle customer rejection
