Job Summary :
We are looking for an E-commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist to join our online shop division.
This role will be handling all ecommerce & some digital marketing activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all e-commerce & social Media activities to drive awareness, new customer acquisition, engagement and revenue for our online shop division. He/She will lead the day-to-day execution of the E-commerce business in our website & social media and online sales strategy aligned to boarder strategies and objectives of the company.
Website Management:
- Ongoing adding & managing of all products, including product descriptions, technical data, product features, product imagery, pricing, options, etc
- Execute & upload all digital website sliders/banners in collaboration with graphic designer.
- Ongoing optimization of site usability & interaction.
- Understanding and familiarity with key E-Commerce trends.
- Ensure mobile website is properly updated.
- Improve product ranking by constantly optimize listings for placement and organic search performance by improving details such as title, description, images, reviews, prices, product specs, customer questions, etc.).
- Update online content, including events, blogs etc.
- Create and implement promotional content for special offers and packages, in coordination with the MOMS’ Marketing plan.
- Review our website rankings on search engines, and update it with relevant search terms and adequate keyword frequency and optimize meta descriptions and tags.
- Coordinate with operation team for any support or customer feedback to improve our customer experience.
- Review & approve all products have appropriate data, imagery, and copy when the product adding request is sent by seller.
- Manage and optimize site cross-sells, up-sells, site search, site speed, customer reviews/satisfaction score & personalization.
- Review transaction data, reports, customer feedback and analytics; provide recommendations and assists in developing new strategies, offerings and initiatives to maximize sales.
- Create engaging landing pages for digital marketing efforts ensuring optimal click-through rate and conversions.
- Research competitors to ensure our listings outperform theirs.
- Investigate and report operational or technical issues that may arise, and troubleshoot problems with Sellers or Customers.
- Make recommendations on areas of product expansion, based on key research.
- Improve product ranking by constantly optimize listings for placement and organic search performance by improving details such as title, description, images, reviews, prices, product specs, customer questions, etc.).
- Continuously monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators, visits, conversion rate, ROI, cost analysis.
Email marketing management:
- Manage direct to consumer email marketing program, ensuring the timely launch and execution of promotional & transactional campaigns.
- Prepare and send, with regular frequency, segmented Email newsletters to all qualified guests/individuals that have subscribed to receive the MOMS newsletters.
- Ensure emails are in line with the strategy and brand guidelines (i.e. brand Identity etc.).
- Develop comprehensive Direct to Consumer Email Marketing strategy in collaboration with Digital Lead.
- Update and test email marketing campaigns to ensure maximum deliverability and engagement.
- Analyze email productivity and profile segmentation.
- Monitor email campaign performance and proactively identify opportunities for increased engagement and loyalty.
Social Media Management:
- Apply social media marketing plan to increase the effectiveness of online sales efforts, and increase customer satisfaction.
- Ensue our online business presence across social media platforms.
- Create, curate & optimize social media posts in collaboration with designer to be delivered to the right audience.
- Moderate Social Media accounts in highly world-class manner.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years E-Commerce experience strongly preferred working with (Souq or Jumia)
- Demonstrated experience with multiple eCommerce platforms strongly preferred (Magneto platform).
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office, internet, email etc.
- Proficient with social Media marketing & Advertising.
- E-mail marketing experience with one of the best service providers.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Understanding and familiarity with key E-Commerce trends, usability concepts, and web best practices.
- Knowledge of Google KW & Analytics and full aware of SEO tools.
- Independent worker and a creative problem-solver
- Ability to offer flexibility in schedule, understanding that some projects may require additional work during evenings and some weekends
- Strong ability to think through, plan, innovate and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, high- pressure environment
- Brainstorming new & creative idea support E-commerce best practices.
