Job Description
We are looking for an energetic and motivated candidate to fill a Mid-level Android developer role in our team, Candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications and their integration with back-end services.
While working along-side other engineers and developers on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.
- Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Set realistic developer time estimations and complete them on time.
- understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- BS degree in computer science/engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of Android Development Experience.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Familiarity with Background process/threads, services and Broadcast receiver.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Familiarity with RxJava and RxAndroid.
- Familiarity with Dependency Injection and dagger2.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Familiarity with Firebase, cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and Material design guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Familiarity with continuous integration
