Job Description
- Install and maintain H2S Safety Detection & Protection Equipment in order to ensure 24-hour H2S emergency response capability and maximized protection of POB
- Orient all incoming personnel with safety information pertaining to:
- General safety rules applicable to them
- Current operational hazards and restrictions
- Training assembly and drill schedule for incoming personnel
- Various alarm signals and response sequences
- Individual Emergency duties and assembly / evacuation strategies
- Usage/location of breathing air systems and personal protective equipment
- Supervise H2S Drills involving H2S Emergency Response Teams and utilizing on board facilities to simulate emergency situations incorporating search and recovery techniques.
Job Requirements
Knowledge / Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Safety in an Oil & Gas sector.
- Competent in use of safety equipments.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
- Must be a self-starter with good problem solving skills.
