Job Description
Main Job Duties:
- Develop THE COMPANY’s corporate information and communication technology strategy and systems to support and proactively enhance THE COMPANY’s mission and core objectives.
- Provide advice on ICT strategy development for other departments with ICT staff and teams that are outside of Corporate ICT.
- Provide information communication and technology support and advice to top management on technological issues, MIS and Reports to facilitate strategic and operational decision making on critical technological issues.
- Provide information communication and technology options and consultation with other ICT staff that may be part of other departments/divisions such as Planning & Development and Community Management.
- Manage the implementation of THE COMPANY’s ICT communications strategy ensuring that the ICT infrastructure and systems optimization and meets the needs of business users while providing capability for future growth.
- Manage maintenance operations and ensure that maintenance and updates execution is in a timely manner ensuring that ICT operations are functional and working to agreed standards in the corporate operations and any site operations.
- Manage the development of security policies and systems for THE COMPANY’s information communication and technology activities ensuring that formalize methods and processes for ICT infrastructure and systems implementation and usage.
- Manage the regular review and audit of all types of ICT Security systems and processes and maintenance of such systems and the security of information.
- Manage the development of disaster recovery policies, procedures and systems for THE COMPANY’s information communication and technology activities ensuring that formalize methods and processes for disaster recovery implementation and usage.
- Manage the regular review and audit of all disaster recovery processes and maintenance of such systems
- Review the ICT teams regular testing of the disaster recovery processes
- Manage the process of corporate ICT support and help-desk activities and manage the establishment of suitable SLAs and measurable KPIs.
- Review the SLAs with the ICT team and continually try to improve these by reducing the SLA times while improving the KPI results.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
- Master’s Degree in MIS (Management Information Systems) or MBA with technology as a core component (desirable)
- CISA/CISM CGEIT/CRISC desirable
.Minimum Experience:
- 10-15 years of ICT management experience
Job-Specific Skills:
- A proven track record of driving and defining corporate ICT strategy
- Exceptional communication skills are essential in order to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical colleagues
- Experience of managing multiple IT disciplines i.e. software development, technical support, systems architecture etc.
- A broad understanding of computer systems, applications, operating systems, and large networks.
