Job Description
- Customisation and Development:
- Design, develop, and customise Retail functionalities within Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Implement and maintain modifications to meet business requirements.
- Integration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Retail modules with other business applications.
- Ensure seamless data flow and communication between different modules.
- Code Review and Optimisation:
- Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and code quality standards are met.
- Optimise and enhance existing code for improved performance.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Retail modules promptly.
- Provide ongoing support and address user-reported problems.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand business processes and requirements.
- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
- Document customisation and configuration details for future reference.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Retail Developer.
- Strong proficiency in X++, C#, CSU Core, Commerce SDK and Retail SDK.
- In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Retail module.
- Experience with Retail configurations, price management, and POS functionalities.
- Familiarity with Retail data migrations and integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications related to Retail development.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and source control management.
- Knowledge of Retail industry best practices.
