Job Description
- Conducts site inspections and provides reports
- Delivers safety induction training to all new personnel on site
- Monitors and Tracks corrective actions
- Prepares and delivers daily or weekly on the job awareness sessions
- Creates Forms/Checklists/Procedures
- Conducts regular inspections on equipment (e.g. lifting equipment, scaffolds …)
- Investigates all incidents on site and writes incident reports
- Ability to perform/review Risk Assessments, Job Hazards Analysis.
- Ability to review Lifting plans
- Ability to perform Data and Root Cause analysis
- Issues/Obtains/Reviews all types of Work Permits
- Exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts.
- Participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the daily work plan.
- Manages Site HSE supervisors and HSE technicians.
- Provides Reports as required
Job Requirements
- 3-7 years of construction/operations safety experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926 & Egyptian regulations
- Health & Safety Certification from accredited course provider, NEBOSH or
OSHA. - Trained as an HSE specialist in accordance with the Egyptian regulations
- Certified Auditor Training from accredited course provider.
- National NIOSH specialist certification, Basic & Advanced is a plus.
- Very Good command of English (written & Spoken)
- Willingness to travel
