Job Description
- Collect Sales Orders through phone calls and e-mails from Customers and Sales Representatives
- Create new customer accounts on the system and update existing ones according to official documents
- Process customer sales orders using SAP and monitor back-orders from previous months
- Work closely with logistics to check availability, container optimization and ensure on-time delivery
- Verify pricing and terms in order to prepare customer quotations (Pro-forma Invoice)
- Follow up with finance on invoicing, LCs, credits, credit hold and collections
- Ensure product compliance with the corresponding country certification procedures and regulations
- Ensure adherence to all approval processes and established business practices
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve problems by clarifying issues, offering alternative solutions and escalating unresolved problems to sales management
- Contribute to company sales by recognizing opportunities to offer additional products
- Monitor e-mail, and phone queues and respond to internal and external queries regarding order status, price, availability, tracking information, order confirmation/invoice reprints, etc.
- Extract and prepare data for business analysis, reporting, trend analysis and forecasting decisions
- Assist the Sales Operation team to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Document and alert the sales management of trends in customer calls
- Special projects related to administration, operations and accounting
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, engineering, or related fields.
- Experience from 3 year to 7 years maximum in related filed.
- Fluent in English or in French / or in both is preferable.
- Sales Force experience is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), SAP Knowledge is a plus
- Excellent data entry skills to quickly and accurately review and input data
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of basic accounting and logistic concepts, global business experience is preferred
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced, call center environment is mandatory
- Results oriented with high attention to details
- Able to build effective work relationships with different groups within the organization
