Job Summary:
The Software Quality Control Team Leader will lead and direct the QC team and their activities as related to quality control for all software/products. SQCTL will be responsible for his team performance, development and ensuring that the final deliverable meets all of the intended needs of the business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and define major and minor characteristics for quality, including metrics, recommended testing software, and scoring parameters.
- Establish goals and objectives for appropriate testing cycles. Defines and maintain test standards and quality assurance tasks
- Understand software requirements to create and deliver testing estimates, testing metrics (defect metrics), testing implementation plans based on those requirements.
- Develop clear and comprehensive test strategies and test cases (manual and automated) for unit, process, function, integration and acceptance testing.
- Perform test executions and write test scripts for complex integrated systems
- Produce reports and documentations for all automated testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging and tracking
- Lead test strategies across multiple projects and initiatives.
- Create daily/weekly test execution metrics and status reporting.
- Assist Project Managers to drive project teams to defect resolution.
- Collaborate with technical teams in the planning, and building of the test environments.
- Participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance.
- Comply with standards of software development life cycle.
- Provide ongoing technical guidance and leadership for the team members.
- Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to test cases' tasks for the QC team members
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related degree.
- Excellent command of English language writing skills.
- At least 4 years’ experience in testing Web and Mobile Applications.
- Excellent attention to detail to identify defects including Functional/ Non Functional defects.
- Passionate about quality of our applications.
- Experience in automation testing tools.
- ISTQB Certification is a must.
- Previous working experience involving Agile Scrum.
- Experience in Jira, Mentis and Microsoft testing manger(MTM).
- Proven experience in at least one of the following areas of testing: performance, security.
