FeedCo production manager will be involved with the:

Planning,
Coordination,
Control of manufacturing processes.
The manager ensures reliable production of different types of feed in two plants with 20 and 40 ton/hr capacity.

The scope of the job –in FeedCo- is the batch production system, tpically, the incumbent is involved in:

Drawing up a production schedule and overseeing the production process;
Ensuring that the production is cost effective;
Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
Preparing and planning the human and material resources needed for production;
Interfacing with the Maintenance, Quality, and Sales Departments to ensure achieving the goal of the company, “Optimum Care for Maximum Quality”;
Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs;
Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;
Supervising and motivating the Production Supervisors and the Production Team;
Review workers’ performance;
Performing other administrative task necessary for running production plants;
Any other work or tasks given by the branch or the general manager.

Qualifications :

A degree in an appropriate subject; ex Bachelor/Masters’ in Engineering and/or physical science;
Administration and management training.
Minimum 7 years experience as a production manager managing Feed mill plants of capacities of at least 20 ton/hr.
