Job Description
- Designing structural works, such as concrete, timber, steel etc…for projects and jobs assigned to him/her and stating all assumptions used to perform the design
- Drawing all required civil/structural drawings, details and connections for designed works.
- Preparing all design documents including calculation sheets, drawings details and specifications etc…
- Following up all company’s filing procedures
- Following up and stating the technical points in civil/structural designs to be concerned in both manufacturing and/or site works
- Calculating the quantity surveying for the civil/structural designed jobs
- Coordinating all his/her civil/structural designs with architectural and electromechanical designers
- Attending meetings with clients and discussing all related technical problems
- Following all of the department’s norms, forms and systems
- Using all of the civil/structural design software, such as REVIT, SAP, STAD, AUTOCAD etc...
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Design major: Concrete or Steel)
- Excellent use of AutoCad
- Excellent use of REVIT.
- Excellent use of SAP, STAD etc...
- Ability to conduct civil/structural designs (concrete and steel) for buildings, apartments, roads, power stations etc…
