Job Summary:
- We are looking for a 3-4 years IOS developer who possess a passion to design and build the next generation of mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced mobile applications for the iOS platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Contribute in identification and adoption of technologies, tools and industry best practices related to mobile app development.
Job Requirements
Mandatory Skills:
- Working experience in iOS development
- Have published one or more iOS apps in the app store
- A deep familiarity with Objective-C, Swift and Cocoa Touch
- Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (Eg. Credit card payment gateways, Google Maps, ESRI Maps, etc.,) and social media integration
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- UI & UX experience
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Familiar with Xcode and iOS SDK
Good to Have Skills
- Good exposure and understanding in implementing Augmented Reality (AR) functionalities in IOS mobile platform.
- Familiarity with and understanding of Apples Human Interface Guidelines
- Understanding of recommended design patterns and architectures
- Familiarity with usability concepts within mobile design
- Good knowledge on Mobile databases, Mobile Security, Mobile application distribution, Memory Consumption, Performance Improvement, Debugging Skills
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
