Job Description
- Organizes and sets in place preventive and predictive maintenance for all equipments through the continuous update of the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Program (PMP) sheets.
- Ensures the correct flow of Mechanical requests by monitoring the Repair Requisition Sheet (RRS) forms and/or memos requesting repair or modifications through either direct implementation or entering them in the Maintenance Planning Sheet (MPS) sheets making sure that the field engineers/technicians has all the information needed to take the correct action.
- Ensures the maximum efficiency of shutdowns through the implementation of the maximum number of tasks listed on the MPS sheets, starting with the highest priority tasks.
- Issues a mechanical shut down list in coordination with the Head of Maintenance Department (HMD) and ensures its implementation.
- Coordinate with electrical Head in executing calibration of process instruments and issues the Process Calibration Sheet (PCS)
- Responsible for the proper filing of all mechanical reports and electrical equipment data, together with all measures required for the organization of the mechanical library.
- Coordinates with HMD in the maintenance planning sheet and supervises the prioritization of those tasks in coordination with HMD.
- Coordinates with purchasing department on the procurement & delivery of critical items.
- Coordinates with HMD on all personnel issues in the mechanical section.
- Issues monthly mechanical section reports using maintenance software and discusses them with HMD for any improvements.
- Training for the maintenance mechanical staff on new techniques and new equipment operation and maintenance.
- Coordinates with the electrical section on tasks requiring a joint mechanical and electrical intervention.
- Issues a report for each major breakdown, mentioning the root cause analysis of this fault, describing the future corrective measures.
- Supervises mechanical maintenance work (in coordination with the mechanical technicians) set through the maintenance planning sheet (MPS) and other tasks that were given extra priority.
- Responsible for the complete and correct implementation of the preventive and Predictive maintenance planning sheets (PMP)
- Trains production operators how to run different processes equipment and machinery.
- Issues Repair Requisition Sheet (RRS) and Repair Order (RO) sheets and follows up all the technical specs.
- Continuously monitors the mechanical maintenance shift reports and preventive maintenance forms that are filled by those technicians (in coordination with the concerned foreman if available).
- Monitors the levels and availability of critical items in the store that facilitates work and/or are critical for the run ability of both PM1 and PM2.
- Monitors the Task Specification Sheet (TSS) sheets issued in the maintenance department and works on the improvement of data accompanied with those sheets, in addition to the correct entry of those sheets in the Maintenance Software Program.
- Training for the mechanical technicians on new techniques and new equipment operation and maintenance.
- Follows up on the training program set for the new mechanical technicians.
Job Requirements
- Only Experience on paper industry .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- English language Very Good is a MUST .
